I think Kent Hughes is a great GM so far. But this whole three goaltender rotation in order to maximise either Allan’s or Primeau’s value didn’t work at all.
We should’ve bit the bullet a while ago and accept neither will get us anything of value if traded.

Kovacevic/Harris are the only guys I could see getting interest. No one wants our crappy plugs like Pearson, or overpaid and underperforming Allen.

Let’s be honest we’d be lucky to get a fifth for him at this point. I admire Kent’s approach to wanting to get max value for some guys but it could really backfire sometimes if you are too greedy. Happened with Anderson and now Allen. Don’t understand why he didn’t trade him when he actually had some value earlier this year or even before the season. Not like him being here helped much this year.

Odds are Hughes is waiting for an outrageous offer for Savard before wasting the last spot on a 5th for Allen.

I think his value gets higher when he’s not playing.. then people start to forget he lets in 3 goals every game
