Seeler is fun to watch and being a flyers fan thats some good news.. Wennberg can play some hockey, I think he will do the rangers some good.
I wanted wennberg to come back to Florida but I'm happy the Rangers will get the hardest working man from the west for their third line.
Crazy a defenseman that effective only gets 2.7. Considering how poor defending has become in the league I would think these guys would be worth more money.
Donโt forget Johansen had โhealth issuesโ when torts went to Columbus and refused to play for Torts, hence him being traded. No way in hell Torts wants him in Philly.

Seeler deal is a huge win for Philly. No question. And I really don't like anything about the Wennberg to Rangers as a Flyers fan living in Seattle. Heck of a player.

Seeler is a great story
As a Capitals fan, the Sandin contract looks a lot worse if Seeler is getting just 2.7 million per season. I like Sandin slightly more than Seeler, but 4.6 versus 2.7 is a big difference, and I would rather have Seeler at 2.7 million per season than have Sandin at 4.6 million per season.

Johansen ran pouting from Torts in Columbus, just like Pierre-Luc DuBois did years later. It's hilarious to think of Tortorella's smirk at his bosses waiving Johansen. He's good at faceoffs. Someone will sign him eventually. I'll be here laughing in the meantime.
