I thought the rumors of a 1st sounded a little too good to be true. I’m happy with this return.
Not over the moon, but happy.

New Hockey fan here – someone want to explain what we got in trade? 50 percent of Wenneberg?

We got a second rounder for him. He’s a great passer so gonna miss him and hopefully we use that pick wisely

Wow kind of suprised after the energy in some of the other threads saying a first (or even a 1st plus Kakko which always seemed optimistic). I don’t have much of a feeling for whether we actually got is good or not, I think it had to be done though.

I wish they could have gotten a D prospect, but I guess they can just draft one with one of the picks. But someone a little farther along in their development would have been nice.

Seriously asking as someone who is a fan of both teams but were folks really thinking Kraken would get Kappo for Wenny? I can’t see Rangers letting him go unless it’s for Guentzel at this point. I much prefer they keep him because I’ll feel it will backfire on letting loose another high upside younger player.
I wasn’t expecting the world but a prospect would have been nice. I hate sell moves in the first place. Always feels like a gamble on getting absolutely nothing.

How many original Kraken players do we got left?

I guess it’s ok 🤷🏻♂️
Doesn’t move the needle for me.

Aw, I was hoping for a prospect instead of a fourth, but the fourth will be easier to flip in a Tatar-like trade next year.

My brother, a big Oilers fan, said he wasn’t sure which of Henrique or Wennberg he’d want more. That begs the question, would you make the same trade for Wennberg and Bellemare? Here is [the Oilers trade](https://twitter.com/frank_seravalli/status/1765462623603060862?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet)

Kraken just got exponentially more unattractive.
