At this point I’d rather just role with what we’ve got and hold onto our 1sts and prospects.
The harsh truth is that last year was our *ALL IN* year and it ended as a first round bounce. This is the third year in a row we are buyers at the deadline. At a certain point we will run out of extra picks and prospects to the point that we are truly mortgaging the future.
We have three 1sts and one 3rd over the next three drafts. We have two top 6 prospects and then middle/bottom 6 potential. That’s it.
I also feel that we are not one piece away. We need our core players to show up in the playoffs. That was always our issue, not just one piece away. Mika, Kreider, Panarin, all need to show up T even strength or we would be screwed no matter what deadline moves we make.

We really botched this deadline. Good thing we held onto all these prospects so we can be a just above .500 team that maybe makes the playoffs then gets embarrassed. More so than last year this was the year to go all in. I don’t see this team being able to get past Florida or Carolina let alone who comes out of the west. The life a rangers fan is PAIN
