I'm okay with this . Think about it , we as flames fans have been stuck ever since Iginla departed … I think a soft rebuild on the fly is something our flames need …I think it's better than praying like the oilers have been doing for about 16 years now. 😅
Should have brokered a deal and used that last retention spot for another Pick or Prospect and you Signed Rooney for too much, but I like the Okhotiuk Acquisition for sure
Conny did well. Hanifin's agents bent him over his knee and he still came out alright. I also think the 2026 pick is a good thing, Vegas isn't likely to be as good then as now, and having young players on different timelines when it comes to ELCs is important.
