* Welcome to Tampa, Duke and Dumba. I feel like this was a gift for hanging Vasy out to dry and Kuch for carrying us all year. Now we’ve got 5 days to get some chemistry with our new teammates. LFG BOLTS!
Game of the Year
Loved the energy from the new guys!!!
Really nice effort all around. Lineup looks deeper with the new additions, good energy, PP and PK both were great. Perhaps most importantly, Vasy looked sharp. Didn’t have to do too much but made the routine saves and looked comfortable doing it. Hopefully can use this game to build some confidence.

Mikey Eyssimont yelled, “There you go!” Steven Stamkos gave a look of pleasant surprise. Victor Hedman belted, “We got a fucking squad now.” And before Nikita kucherov hit the locker room door, ex-NHL star Brad Richards hugged him & said, “Y’all look so different.”
But fr What a fucking game. 7 goals total, 5 points from Raddysh, 2 goals from Hedman, a debut goal for Duclair, and a Mikey fight
Felt like 2004 in there. Not just with the old team but also Torts flying off the handle and kickin’ the Flyers ass.
Also Duclair is exactly what we needed and it would’ve been oh so sweet if Dumba also hit that goal where he dinged the post.

I’m so, so happy they brought that shutout home for Vasy. Dave was spot on when he said the details in the closing stages would tell a story of their own. THAT is how you close a game out.
