Vladimir Tarasenko joined the Panthers after being acquired from the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday for a pair of draft picks.

He is signed through the end of the year.

He joins a Florida team which saw its six game winning streak end. Florida had won 16 of its past 18.

Thursday, Gus Forsling scored Florida’s lone goal in the second period to tie the score. He signed an eight-year contract extension with the Panthers earlier in the day.

Sergei Bobrovsky gave up two goals or fewer for the 12th straight game — but took the loss after Philly scored in the final seconds.

Florida is back home Saturday against Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar and the Calgary Flames.

  1. Got owned by an injured flyers team…no chance panthers win the cup with tye complete incompetence out there on the ice. If it werent for bob wed be getting blown out every night with how bad the defense has been
