I cracked up during the Habs game when Freddie lost his stick and either Tripp or Mike mentioned that was was very different from usual, because PK plays without his stick all the time.

I’ve noticed more goalies doing this recently on other teams. It’s not a new thing, but I wonder if it’s becoming kind of a trend.

Is it just me it did he not lose his stick once vs. NJ? Might’ve finally got some pine tar on that thing. 😁

FWIW, during a recent game either Mike or Tripp mentioned that he loses his stick so often because he has kind of a claw hold on it and doesn’t actually wrap his hand around it.
