Excellent first period – fast, hitting, shooting, aware. 2 & 3 periods kind of sat back a bit. Cannot do that. Bad habits. Keep up the momentum, speed, shooting, hitting, aware, dodging hits, connecting, etc.

I know everyone was sad when Boudreau left, but Tocchet's structure was exactly what the Canucks needed. Hope he wins the Jack Adams, he deserves it.

The coaching staff must be given SO much credit… many of the same players (Boeser, Myers, etc.), but they are playing the best of their careers; it's not only Tocchet, either. The collection of the entire staff (pretty incredible group!) is just amazing. It feels like a football staff, not hockey; cool concept.
I guess we get to see Silovs for a few games to gain experience… Not a bad situation as long as Demko is not seriously hurt (fingers crossed). Let him get a rest.
