I was in Nagoya back in October and a dude saw my Red Wings hat and started talking about Shanahan, Yzerman, and Hasek and how much he missed the golden days, lol. Did not expect to find a Japanese Red Wings fan during my trip.

A lot of Asian people where I live rock the old English D Tigers hats. Apparently it’s a close relative to a symbol for good luck. So I don’t usually get a nod back when I’m rocking mine but I know it’s fashion over support for the team.
