If the Wings make the playoffs anything is possible, if they make the playoffs and get knocked out 1st round that's success over last year over the last 8yrs. The only disappointment I'll be ok with is if they happen to miss the playoffs. I understand we live in a world of instant gratification now but hockey is played by human beings not computers.

Wings depth this year is crazy. Seeing Toronto where one guy has almost 25% of their offensive output is scary and makes me glad I'm a Wings fan. Detroit's goal leader only has about 11% of their goals and there are three players within a couple of that lead with more than 10 guys with double digit goals. That is impressive in the NHL. Like the Chicago coach said – that Detroit team is a team that can beat anyone in the league. Plus minus this year is way better than any of the past 5. This is a hungry team and hungry teams are dangerous.
They may advance to the second round if they continue to play like they are and make the playoffs. Which is perfectly fine. We can't expect too much. The team is slowly becoming what we saw in the mid 90's. Not quite conference finals but slowly getting there. Nothing wrong with that.
Don‘t think about the playoffs! Think from game to game. That makes champions.
Yzerman is a Master at finding talent whether it is through the draft or veteran players and building a winning foundation, as well as the players who have the fire inside of them to be sucessful..Its almost like he wants players that are a image of himself in his playing days

My D-Mac signed photo of him with the Cup in '97 is STILL on my wall. Darren is one of my fave wings, and I was there in '97. Congress was a party beyond compare, and nothing but love. Not a single violent act. At least 100k Wings fans just having fun. My buddy and I sat on the hood of a Detroit Police car with a Case of beer between us and there was no issue. Those were the days… April in the D is about to happen again. Go Wings!!

the only reason they didn’t make the playoffs the last 8 yrs is mainly hollands fault letting guys quit retire without reproducing players to take there places through the draft or trades he was an idiot with contracts for sure i think were still paying someone that isnt on the team anymore! 🤷♂️🤪🤔👎
Y’all tryna hype up the wings means nothing. When it comes to a rigged football league that hosts games once a week or an intense, enjoyable to watch hockey game that happens sometimes back to back, y’all cover football every single time. What made me lose respect for this broadcast.
Hockey is different from other sports. Playoffs are a toss up and anyone can win or lose a 7 game series
