Bruce Boudreau on the Canucks four game winning streak, Pettersson’s contract and more
Former Canucks Head Coach and NHL Network Analyst Bruce Boudreau joined the guys and talked about the Canucks getting back on track, Elias Pettersson’s contract extension and who did the best at the NHL trade deadline.
This is a much better interview than the last one that was really awkward and Bruce was really put-offish… Some of his insights on how the team operates is very interesting, to say the least.
Yes, we are all happy to see Hoglander refining his game in the AHL, and now making a huge impact with the big club. Hoping that the same thing is happening to Podkolzin, and to others who are currently down in the farm (Bains, Woo, Raty, Hirose, Klimovich, Karlsson and McDonough) as well.
On Overdrive in Toronto Bruce said he didn’t want to see us win this year. Liked him while he was here but if he actively cheers against us I don’t like him anymore. He has every right not to like the Franchise as well but I don’t have to like him going forward

What a class act BB is, he never gets enough credit for revitalizing Pettersen when many thought he was done.
