These refs have been horrible in sensing the urgency of these games and calling them too tight. Both of these teams are playing hard style playoff hockey for seeding and the refs are acting like it's a preseason game. Obviously there are some that are penalties regardless like this one and the hit on Svech, but they're calling too many weak stick penalties. #letthemplay

This reminds of the type of tripping penalty’s when I dive to cover the cross-crease in NHL 21 and they skate to me and fall on me to draw the call.

It's a boneheaded play from Vatrano, irrespective of if he's trying to stay onside. He didn't mean to do it but his spatial awareness is so bad.
What are people in this comment section talking about? This is a clear, cut and dry trip. There's really not much to debate about this.
Definitely a penalty could be either tripping or interference no puck and he trips him up it might be a accident but watch where you’re going
