Looking at the final games of the season, I think the boys will end up in the top 5 overall. Thoughts? The team has definitely improved for a chance at the cup. They can win it but I think the odds they win is 1 in 6.
Colby list would be good if he put Vegas under Edmonton.
Vegas hasn't shown anything all year. I think Vegas is just Oiler kryptonite.
The Jets have had trouble scoring in the past. But the Jets are a nice team right now.
I could see the Oilers beating Dallas or Colorado. Edmonton probably wants to avoid Vegas and Vancouver.

Almost better if we rank the oilers lower so they can surprise us. Like you guys said it’s really a coin toss in any playoffs especially this year. Who friggen knows. We can analyze this to death, it won’t change a thing in the end.
Oilers defense is awesome. No problems there. Someone said Oilers had the fewest goals against this season. I can't find where that was said so not sure. So their defense is awesome including Ceci. Oilers have the best top 3 lines RNH/McD/Hyman McLeod/Drais/Foegele Kane/Henrique/Perry
The purpose of the 4th line is to play just defense. It's too difficult to have 4 offensive lines.
Boys are playing defense better than the seasons prior me thinks they'll be fine when it comes to crunch time

You just don't know until the playoffs with the Oil or any of 'em….. the regular season is so much softer than playoffs. I still have reservations about the Oilers killer instinct and their ability to play well when up against a bigger more active defense.. the bottom 2 lines for the Oilers need to gel more IMO. I think Edmonton can beat Dallas, LA, Jets and Vancouver ~ 'LAnche and Knights… no. Colorado and Vegas shut down Connor and Leon and the rest of the Oilers dont chip in b/c the last two lines arent enough. Maybe this year they connect and win it all…. fingers crossed.
