It's too bad Avs didn't finish it off in regulation. Besides having a better chance at the 1 seed, it would've been the 2nd Canadian team they embarrassed coming back from 3-0 on their own ice(did it at Toronto earlier this season)
Canuck fans punching the air rn. "but the refs", convert on 4 powerplays, don't get outshot 17-3, and don't let up on offensive momentum. Champions don't lose steam in games regardless of the refs. That's how the teams that won the Stanley Cup played games, the Canucks don't do that. They've shown that throughout the year, don't even try to lie to yourself Canuck fans. The Canucks are a very good team, but they need to hold the lead and have more resilience in games.
From these highlights, it seemed the Avs were not too tenacious and pesky for most of the game, but they also did not call it a night when they were down 0-3. Props to them for remaining resilient and confident! 🏒
