The Tape Room: Alexis Lafreniere Becoming a Dynamic Player

Here’s an interesting look and how laffy’s growing into the elite player he was drafted to be. Not the most exciting take but it does mention how Laf had dramatically improved his zone entries and almost doubling his number of zone entries per game.

Boylers hockey IQ is off the chart. He was an awesome bottom 6 guy. Great analysis. And shoutout Cory Schneids too!

Super interesting to watch breakdowns like that!

i like that the thumbnail makes it look like BBoyle is holding Laffy’s face lol

  4. Laffy really seems different this year. He had no room to do anything in the past but now opposing teams are backing off of him instead of challenging him. Not coughing up the puck along the boards and making some real creative plays. Playing with Panarin really raised his game. I don’t think it is a coincidence.

  5. Any reason those two are just standing there with hockey sticks? They’re just props lmao hockey tv production sucks so bad.

Good segment and love to see Boyle’s hockey IQ on display

I’d love it if we could extend him this offseason with a decent raise for more years but honestly no idea what the cap looks like after this year and we could probably use the flexibility the 2 year ticket bought us.
