Sam Ersson has great fear in his eyes now. Watching Frost, Tippet, and Sanheim going for big skates while being totally defensive abominations, looking at worn out stiffs like Johnson and Staal….Brink, Gurianov, Cates being filler material.
Couturier has gone from a 30 goal scorer to a 5 goal scorer. Laughton and Atkinson so inconsistent as to make your eyes bleed.
Any day now the Flyers will have to announce that Drysdale is out for the season and maybe part of the next year too. They didn't care to do due diligence on him.
Thompson is already done. It could be Brad Shaw is done too. Goaltender coach whatshisname is done.
But I guess it doesn't matter. The dead things (formerly red wings) are self immolating. Isles with psycho Roy aren't seizing the moment either.
Tortorella can wash his hands of this mess simply by throwing his assistant coaches under the bus.
