Isles sorry offense has reappeared. I told y'all 13, 14, 29 can't score all the goals every game and that 21 would go cold. After back to back shut outs it is obvious. Now young and hungry sabres are coming from behind. Byram is making a difference now for buff. What a difference a tdl move can make for a team. Thanks louzer. A stagnant offense + a lame-o type effort = sure loss for isles. And wings lost-7th straight-to az. to remain tied with isles. At least flyers lost/tb won to remain 4 pts. up. Now sabres/wings have a re-match sat. then isles wings play next thursday. Roy better kick them into gear and find some combo that works again. Teams now will put top d combos out to stop 13, 14, 29 with no other line to fear. And isles outshot by faster younger sabres who pressured isles all game.
People say team might be tired but through whole road trip had like 2 to 3 games off except for back to back should not be that tired

Gil, I couldn’t disagree more. I didn’t think that was a cheap shot on engvall. I thought that was a clean hit. Anders just jumped him because that’s what happens in the game now when someone gets drilled. Plus I’m sure being mad and embarrassed for not showing up entered into it. I won’t be surprised if it happens again against Ottawa. A young team that can skate is our kryptonite.

I don’t know if you or the rest of the fans can agree but I felt the lack of desperation the first few minutes in. The terribly poor passes from their own end. So disappointed. I really don’t get it. Roy is, in my opinion being way too nice to these veterans. I hope he’s a little harder than the “we’re all winners” approach to his interviews. I have no problems with them even missing the playoffs because I think we all no this isn’t the Cinderella team of 2024, as long as there is major moves done this offseason. I really can’t take this roster anymore. I really don’t get the lack of desperation. Better of dressing 20 fans and putting them on the ice. At least I have Locked on Islanders to look forward to

We as fans need to make a statement and stop going to the games. I understand we need to support our team but come on after a while putting this product on the ice and you want fans, well fans with my wallet, sell the farm and donate blood to get enough money for tickets and some soda and chicken fingers and then this is the roster?

If Lou isn’t held responsible for this and isn’t dealt with accordingly then I’m convinced this ownership is clueless. Lou believed in this joke of a roster, Lou gave LONG contracts to old players, Lou traded away many many picks depleting the farm team, Lou never addressed the top tier wing. Any other team in any other sport the GM would be fired. Lou hasn’t done anything in over twenty yrs! The owners need to wake up
Hi Gil, all this proves is this team is a fraud. Who cares if they make the playoffs? They won’t get out of the first round anyway, but that will be good enough for senile Lou to continue down this same destructive path. They need a rebuild or a retool at the very least. This team will only continue to get older and won’t be any better if not worse next year if they continue down this same path
