Samsonov made his return to the Leafs on Jan 14th. He's since played 16 games and gone 13-3. In this stretch, he's averaging a 2.38 GAA and .913 Sav%. Also to note, he played 15 games before he was sent down for conditioning. How on earth does he still have a sav% below 900 (at .889) and a GAA above 3.0 (at 3.06)? Like, I remember him having a rough start, but I don't remember it being that rough. With 17 games left, I'm rooting for this man to hit .900 and hopefully at least a 2.75.
Knowing these tiny ass hand passes lead to goals being called back every time it’s reviewed makes that nylander goalie interference call that much more annoying.
Sucks that Jarnkrok went down, thought he'd been solid since returning.
With him and Mitch out, this is Robertson's chance to show Keefe what he can. Nobody to blame but himself if he falls flat.

That Bertuzzi goal that got called back was BS. Matthews barely touched it and his touiching it had nothing to do with the goal. It breaches the spirit of that rule.
I always sigh when goals like Bertuzzi's get called back regardless of whether or not they're for or against my team.
It's like the offside reviews when they're measuring fractions of millimeters… Like yeah, I totally get it, but it's also painfully stupid.

That has got to be a great example of Refs should be able to use their discretion sometimes. Yes, by the strictest letter of the rules that's a hand pass, but the puck baaaaarely moved ans Bertuzi was 100% get the puck whether or not Matthews nudged the puck the slightest bit

I am with you Steve. Send out the second PP-Unit first and if they get a few breaks because of stoppages let them stey out. Otherwise send out the first PP unit with Reaves. There is no point in sending out the 4th line that never played together on the PP. Get the second unit more reps.
Its good to know that it's not Jarnkroks head or shoulder, those can be scary. Once Keefe gets a doctor to check out his knees and toes we can see how long he'll be out
