Tinge of sky is falling feeling from Florida and NJ games, but it’s still early. I still want to see a statement game in final reg season match up vs Avs. They’re still by far the scariest playoff potential oppo IMO.
But trying to focus that Stars are in the playoffs, most of the league is looking up at us, and D will hopefully gel with a little more time to ease up on those high risk shots. Too late this year to dump hate on Otter, he’s our guy so… praying he’s just saving the all star stuff for post season 🙏
Here on out it’s just hope they stay healthy til games matter again bc if you take Nashville seriously, it doesn’t seem like there’s going to be an easy match up to be found.

Okay so during the game last night I heard the Hum again.its really weird. It sounds like if your on a train track and there’s a train a few miles away. I’ve heard it twice now once in 2012 and then last night. Both times around the Austin area which has a fault line and apparently it goes up east of Dallas as well.ive done a bit of research on it cause it’s trippy. I probably wouldn’t believe this if I hadn’t experienced myself.
The first time I heard it I was alone in my house and it sounded like an electronic kicked on. I wondered around trying to find the noise and noticed it was loudest in my garage but still wasn’t coming from it. I went outside and it was coming from all around. There was no explanation for it at the time but I did more research again and now they say the hum comes from fault lines and movement. Weird mystery finally solved.
It’s such a hard sound to describe but if you’ve ever heard it you know there’s not really another sound quite like it only sorta similar ones.
But if I were ever alone in the dark out in the middle of no where and heard it I’d get scared. It’s creepy and cool

This team is consistently showing that they are good, but not good enough to win a cup. It seems like no matter what they do, some part of the team slacks. We score goals, our goalie let’s in everything. We have solid goal tending, nobody can beat the opposing net minder. We have solid D, who am I kidding that hasn’t been a thing for a while.

Was at the game last night. Few things I’m not a fan of: The Suter and Hak pairing. Roope not following through after a missed shot attempt. Lack of Seguin. Those small passes from the trap towards our own net.
I’m worried that the constant shifting of the lines is what is causing so much disconnect between the forwards. I think the fourth line and the Johnston line had the most consistency and intensity last night. Not surprising that that was where our offense came from.

I feel like Otter is stuck in his head. I almost wonder if he played last night because PDB thought it would help his confidence. I know there’s a possibility of a nagging injury, but Otter has shown that he can be great. It could be something in his personal life or he’s just lost his confidence.

Why is Pete so stubborn about switching up the D pairings? Is anyone else’s mind blown that Miro still isn’t paired with Tanev? Why hasn’t he given Nils a chance yet? Why is suter and hawk still a fucking pairing when he knows damn well they DONT FUCKING WORK????? WHAT IS IT GONNA TAKE FOR HIM TO LITERALLY MAKE TWO EASY MOVES AROUND JUST TO GET THE DEFENSE MOVING AGAIN

The last few games have been frustrating. Oetter is having an off year and I feel like we should play Wedgie a little more. I still love the team no matter what.

I’m nervous we don’t have a winning record against teams that are in the playoffs. Would like to see us consistently beating the top teams.

Every playoff team in the west, has a much better goal tending situation than the stars. (Avs are very similar)
That’s scary. Unless otter figured it out for the playoffs, I’m afraid it’s going to be a short playoff run. You don’t make it far in the playoffs letting in 4 or more on the regular.

I wonder if it’s mostly to with Deboer wanting to make sure Jani is on PK? Couldn’t Tanev just slide into that spot?

After the Devils’ 6th goal last night, about 15% of the audience walked out. Then the “Let’s go Devils” chants started and got pretty loud. It was sad.
