He and his cap hit should be the centerpiece in any offer for a proper defender(s) before his value totally plummets, he is signed until 2030 at 7.5 Million, so the Leafs have got to move quickly this summer.

Team owner Brad Marchand challenges the entire Leaf bench. They all turtle, get sore at a kid who beat and humiliated them so they justify hitting him in the head from behind ( of course) with a cross check instead of dropping gloves and challenging face to face. This LEAF team will NEVER carry a cup other than the one between their legs….🤦♂️
As a Leafs fan… Reilly's hit was fully justified, but poorly executed. I maintain he aimed for the shoulder and his stick road up and yes a suspension was deserved… but FIVE GAMES? The double standard from player safety against the Leafs is ridiculous. Simmonds got cross checked in the face by two different players last season in the span of one second and neither of those players got even a day of suspension. And you know what? Even though I agree Reilly could have handled that better, all you anti Leafs fan idiots can piss off. If it was a Leafs player that got crosschecked after a slapshot into the net you would all be chanting venom at player safety if they suspended that player because it was a Leaf who got the receiving end. You all want the Maple Leafs to be the bad guys SO BAD that I think the Toronto fanbase is just about ready to support a Maple Leaf team that becomes a goon squad every fuckin play off season. Win or Lose. Stanley Cup or No Stanley cup.
