Went to the game, had a great time. Manon Rhéaume dropped the ceremonial puck! It got chippy in the 3rd, and the folks in the building *want* a Detroit team. Good stuff.
I bet it was louder and more passionate than our barn too. I would know I’ve been to every barn under every circumstance and I can honestly say it’s louder and more passionate that’s for sure. -Shitschtick

Kinda surprised that it was a record breaking day.
The Excell Center (Minnesota) holds more people so that probably means they either don’t sell out or don’t sell the whole arena
Looks like NY and Boston seat between 6,000 and 10,000

The awesome part is that Detroit is a neutral arena and Minnesota it was their home opener.
Let’s see tomorrow how Pittsburgh fairs with attendance. Hopefully well, more hockey is always good
