Leon you look like a baby sulking because you didn’t have it in you to skate, take a penalty or whatever to stop the overtime goal with five seconds left, full 65 minutes Leon. You’re better than that.
Looked like Drais had a tough choice in the final seconds; to coast those final 20' or so to save some energy or skate and make sure the he intercepted a pass from McKinnon… vs letting his man be the one to get the pass. In the end it hurt Skinners goals against & team record – but personally Leon did save a few final skates of energy so that is good.
I get the disappointment of Drai being minus 3 and lacking some effort but McDavid didn't do anything either. This game was billed as McDavid vs Mackinnon and to be honest, none of the superstars were anything special in this game.
