Hockey is one of the only sports to legally allow players to throw punches and get into fights, within the rules of the game. Other sports such as Basketball, have had their heated moments such as the Malace at the Palace, but all the players involved received hefty suspensions and fines. Yet, there is one other sport that follows hockey’s model…and of course, it’s Canadian as well. This is Pro Box Lacrosse.

The fights are pretty entertaining for me when it comes to watching games, but of course the best part of a game is when you watch your home team score

Many young hockey players play lacrosse in the summer
They have a new sport called ice wars which is literally just a hockey fight, I watched it and it’s awesome. It’s actually a lot more strategic than you might think.

Here in Rochester the indoor lacrosse and ice hockey teams play in the same arena. Also Lacrosse was invented by native Americans that used to live in my hometown. Not canada

Though hockey is my favorite sport, I still watch this as a fan of the Buffalo Bandits and we broke a championship drought, where John Tavares was a player for 2008, and a coach for 2023
