On May 20, a Houston-based group, headed by Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta, will purchase the Coyotes from Alex Meruelo for $1.82 billion, including a relocation fee of $195 million to relocate the Coyotes to Houston. On June 25, the NHL Board of Governors will approve both the sale and relocation of the Coyotes to Houston in a 31-1 vote, so next season, after 28 seasons in the Phoenix area, the Coyotes will relocate to Houston to become the Outlaws and play their home games at Toyota Center.
It doesn’t matter how Lindholm plays, they won’t be able to keep him.
sens goaltending has obviously been a big issue this year but they are one of the worst teams in their own end, always letting teams set up for grade A scoring chances
I don't see how the sens can trade Korpisalo without both retaining salary and giving up an asset.

When I was a kid I remember watching that game live from the Boston Gardens, Ron Tugnutt stopped 70 of 73 shots to earn to lowly Nordiques a tie in Boston. The Boston faithful cheered him off the ice, super classy.

i figure, when you look on capfriendly,, blue jackets goalie merzlikans is i think 5.6 mil for only 3 years right, and they love korpisalo, and i think he would be happier somewhere else, so why not swap goalies, cuz then a byout for merzlikans would be less. just a thought. thats if he didnt work out either, if he did then great. cuz it sounded like their stuck with him to same, and they did a tribute to korpisalo in one of the games, so swap goalies and both sides win.

Ottawa needs to focus on building cohesive roster and defensive corps specifically. Yes the goaltending hasn’t been good, this team though makes the worst plays at the worst times and just hangs their goalies out to dry. Fix this roster before giving up any assets at all for new goaltending
Why do you never have any rumors about the Capitals getting a playmaker/passer for Ovechkin? The media, the fans, the rumors never have Nick Backstroms replacement in any of the talk. Will the Caps pick up a passer? If so who in the NHL are the targets? Could the Caps trade Ryan Leonard for a passer?
