The Ottawa Senators did not have the Luck of the Irish on St. Patrick’s day as they lose 7-2 to the Carolina Hurricanes at home.

A Category 5 hurricane hit Ottawa. In the middle of hurricane season.
The Sens, since the Coaching change, has Nbeen HORRENDOUS. The only great thing is we are now in position to qualify for the Draft Lottery sitting 28th in the League. Keep up the good work. Yes, with "Gods" like Jacques and AlFredo the Sens have fallen to 18th in G/Gm and are the 6th worst in GA/Gm. But how is the PP ahd PK doing you ask…not good I say. The PP is 27th and PK IS 30TH! How is this possible with a Defencive Specialist and an offencive God behind the bench…anybody? Will the Sen's agents write about this in the Ottawa Sun…are they allowed???? Or, will they take the safe route they've taken for 30 years and bless every move the Organization makes. As it Turns out, the Sens were better in EVERY way measurable with DJ. Oh, it's only after DJ's firing have the goalies got criticism. When he was here all 3 were under .890 Sv% and Noguard sported an .840 something. Actually, I am a huge fan but hate BS. THE new Regime inherited a lot of talent. When healthy, the Team can ice 3 great lines and a couple of dandy defencemen. The 4th line has been awful as has been the goaltending. With dome big guys who can skate, why can't they defend? Isn't Jacques the the MAN. How hard can it be to focus on a single thing…keep that guy opposite you off the score sheet? Whether on purpose or not the Coaching is God awful and I'm glad…but I can't read or hear the usual suspects celebrate abject failure any longer. Is the StaioPLAN at play (lose many games, secure Draft Lottery)? I certainly hope so!!!
