I agree with your assessment of Kakko on the 3rd line he’s definitely more assertive with the puck and man does he have a shot and a half lol It’d be nice to see Kakko become a clutch player like Kovalev was 30 yrs ago. Go Rangers!
That was the first goal by Kaapo (this season) in which I saw him celebrate with enthusiasm. People forget that this kid is diabetic and suffers from celiac disease, which may be causing him to deal with depression issues. If he ever regains that swagger he possessed at that '19 World Championships as an 18-year-old, the goals will start coming in bunches. His hands, vision and awareness are top-tier — if the confidence seeps in, a dangerous weapon will emerge.
They play the Devils on April 3rd, not the 9th.
