Cam Atkinson — 0 points in the entire month of February. Currently on a 16 game streak with 0 points. Last point was on 1/23/24. Completely unacceptable given his salary and time on ice.

Everyone all shaky after we hit a fucking pothole in the road. Thought you all would be used to that living in Philly. This is a fucking rebuild guys, and we are still moving on those tracks, we were SUPPOSED to suck this year, and we haven't we have hit a rough patch with a lot against us, give the guys a chance to bounce back, and let them do their jobs, they worked hard for most of that boston game. Most sadly being the key word. We still got games and time, I just wanna see the effort.

Some of these comments are ridiculous. The job this guy has done with basically nothing is remarkable. They should be nowhere near the playoffs and he has them playing as hard as they can, they’re just not talented enough. They have an AHL defensemen, 2 dmen who should retired, Atkinson who is getting waived this summer and Coots who is a shell of himself.
Therefore Flyers cannot afford overrated players. Therefore they have to play guys like lycksell. A guy who has never scored a nhl goal. Or a guy like Sandstrom who is .829 save percentage.
The sorry truth is the Flyers cannot even afford Ersson or seeler.
