    > The Jets have had the best goaltending in the league statistically this season, and there isn’t a close second. Their team total of 50.72 GSAx is nearly 40 percent more than second place St. Louis (36.49). Their .920 save percentage is well clear of the second-place [Bruins](https://theathletic.com/nhl/team/bruins/) (.913). The gap is massive.

    >Perhaps more importantly, with only 49 starts, Hellebuyck is on pace to play a career-low. Brossoit has been excellent in relief, allowing the league’s top netminder to enter the postseason as fresh as he ever has.

  2. Well when Helle is a literal God and Brossoit is the King that leaves little wiggle room to argue against who has the best tandem, fer shuuuure baud

This is the biggest reason we have our best chance yet for a proper run this year. Goaltending wins cups.

I like brossoit but be to be real. He’s only really beat 2 good teams. Nashville once and Carolina once. After that it’s all bottom feeders. I’m not bashing him! I like him. Great number 2 goalie. Great tandem for goalies.
