The point is the whole team is not trying whatsoever I mean I'm a big fan of these guys I'm sorry the biggest mistake was signing that goalie to a 5-year 4 million dollars and he can't come up with the big save not only that but the team defense is shit changing the coach clearly wasn't the problem the problem is is you have a captain that shows off every time he scores and then jinxs the whole team I find when I watch them and he does that it comes back to bite them in the ass every single time this team has no intention on competing this season is over same with the next one because they invested in two backup goalies they need to go out and actually spend money on a quality goalie star goalie not backup goalies there is a reason why LA did not resign Koripsalo But not all the blame is on him It's just this team has no intention on competing I seen that at the half way point. People can agree or disagree I don't care but this team is not nowhere ready for the playoffs anytime soon.
Everybody thought Koripsalo was the answer He's not he was a backup goalie everywhere he played and yeah it's not all on him and the defense needs to be better but giving money to a goalie that was uncertain and nobody knew what he was actually going to turn out like giving him that kind of money was a mistake they should have beefed up on defense because they needed The offense is fine It's the defense and the goaltending and they have the wrong goalie coach working with those goalies Justin Peters a guy who couldn't even post a 900 save percentage himself working with Koripsalo and Forsberg that is why the goaltending is also as bad as what it is so this team is not ready to compete not now probably not in a couple of years.
