Wasn't expecting a win here. They weren't shut out, and Bedard kept up his near PPG, so that's something. It's supposed to be a "learning season," and they got their fill of learning tonight. Here's hoping Blackwell is okay. Wouldn't mind having him back for another year or two.
The Capri Sun has been there for well over a week. I'm betting that Bedard never ate a chicken nugget in his life.
Thanks for the shoutout to Joe Brand! He's terrific and knows his hockey! He does a great job of pushing back on the knee-jerk narratives after every game. Glad his efforts were rewarded with a week in the sunshine.
The Blackhawks are doing with Korchinski the same thing they did with Kirby Dach. The thing Davidson said they wouldn’t do. They are rushing him to the NHL and he’s is beyond struggling. There was zero reason to have him on this team this season. Isaac Phillips is much more physically mature and professionally ready for the NHL than Korchinski.
Anyone else think J Dick is nursing an injury? He doesn’t seem fully himself. He’s still solid but seems a step slower than normal and fell a few times. I dunno.
