Saved? Idk they kept it alive for sure. They still have to play the capitals twice, and theyre only 1 game back rn. And the wings only play 4 non playoff teams in their last 13 games.
We need to be more aggressive with our shot numbers. Being outshout by 15 before intermission doesnt really sit well with me. Id like to see some more intensity near the net
They need to get out of the first period without allowing multi goals on double digit shots or they are not going anywhere since the Florida game is where I think we got exposed

I don't disagree that was a much needed win last night but the fact that some fans are calling it a big win tells you the current state of this team. The Red Wings needed OT at home to beat a Columbus team that is in last place in the Eastern Conference. That's sad and it speaks volumes.
