I’m so thankful that Forsling continued to mostly fly under the radar prior to signing his 8-year deal. He could have gone for significantly more money.
On an unrelated note, I got to meet Forsling during a Panthers meet and greet. I tried out my horrendous Swedish (my mother immigrated from Sweden) on him. He was hysterical and appreciated my efforts. He’s the nicest and most personable player I’ve met.
