What kids? We have a 5’8 on a good day fancy center that is noticeably lazy on defense… and a bunch of guys in their mid twenties with 20 something points. I’d love to see Ruslan get a shot but he’ll get 4th line mins at best and be benched for lack of defense. Not adding youth/prospects at the deadline is going to hurt this franchise. We still aren’t a serious cup contender and we won’t be next year with this roster a year older. At least we’ll get to see brock sign where he wants

There’s 5 “kids” (under 23) in Bridgeport… They’ve combined for a total of 32 goals this season!!! There’s no help coming from down there any time soon.
I really do hate this fanbase. Some folks are STILL insisting we just keep running it back. Its nauseating bootlicking. TRUST LOUUUUUU
To the people who think the team is bad because they are old and slow go check out some teams above us in the standing, maybe take a look at Nashville? And realize that that team just simply plays better hockey with a better system and disciplined players. I do think players like lee and pags are done tho. They have just been so fucking bad for most of the season.
They moved Ruslan too center so he’s still trying to learn the position. I have my doubts about a 5’7 center in the nhl honestly
Horrible prospect pool. They ain’t going to punt on the season yet obviously but Ishakov and Maggio should get a look by the end of the season. I’ve been disappointed with Koivula

Honestly I wouldn’t really consider most of those players kids and likely none of them are our top prospects. Iskhakov is the one most people talk about, Maggio and Dufour need time in the AHL still if they are to make it. We’ve already seen MacLean may be a serviceable 4th line center which is helpful.
Our best prospects I’d honestly say aren’t in the AHL. Even with the Athletic article recently in mind I’d say they are:
1) Danny Nelson
2) Alex Jefferies
3) Calle Odelius
We are also potentially either making the playoffs again or adding another top prospect assuming the 1st rounder isn’t traded. We also have our 1st and 2nd round pick in the same draft for the first time in 5 years (2019) so you can likely add two more prospects to the pool to replenish it a bit. Holmstrom is still young and developing as well.
