  1. It won't have a big Coyotes logo on the roof. Remember the renderings of the new Red Wings area with the giant Wings logo? Yeah, that didn't happen. They'll give it to a sponsor.

  2. The whole Coyotes situation is a real fiasco. Meruelo himself could've had this sorted last year had they pushed as hard as/harder than their opposition in the Tempe vote.

As for the arena… remember, the building that became Little Caesar's Arena had renderings for it that featured a Wings logo on the roof, so I doubt the Coyotes logo would appear on the roof.

  3. Who do they have to compete for it? NBA? NFL? MLB?….. Owner might have to shell out??

  4. the league is fatigued by the 10's of millions in corporate welfare they have had to shell out to this albatross of a franchise over the years. there has been issues with bills not being paid on time. this is an embarrassment for the league. these "leaked" arena renditions are all smoke and mirrors and are 4-5 years away from becoming a reality. there's no shortage of cities that would would have an arena built and a substantial season ticket sale commitment in 3 years. it has been a struggle to even find a city that wants this team.

  5. This is just a Cry Wolf Fable(look it up if you don't know it). Sooner rather than later, the Coyotes will be moved to another state! Frankly, if I'm a player in the draft, trade or free agency, I would not want to play for a team that is such a mess regarding their ownership and not having a real home.

  6. The best way to make sure the NHL shuts up… prepare to move to Quebec… the NHL seems to like that idea even less than Mullett for a few years. We’ll have to see what happens.
