Well, looks like the Flames aren’t losing everyone after all. Huberdeau has signed on to play with Calgary for what is likely to be the rest of his career.
Tkachuk is 24, Huberdeau is 29. How is this a win for Calgary? Sure in the very short term they've replaced the points they lost in Tkachuck, but how about 4 years from now? 8 years from now? And did you know they lost Gaudreau too?
Seeing shannon without a hat and a jersey on is like seeing your elementary school teacher at the grocery store and realizing they’re a normal person and they do normal person things
Huge contracts can always be a concern , but as a Flames fan , the alternative of not signing Huberdeau was worse. It’s not easy getting star talent in small Canadian markets. We couldn’t even keep the 2 that were developed in our system.
What’s with these long contacts in the NHL ?? You don’t see that in any other sport. 8 years? He’s gonna be like 37. How many players are actually going to finish these contracts?
Shannon, what is the rule about signing bonus taxation? For example if he has a permanent residence in Florida and spends summers there, can he get the signing bonus every year on July 1st with lower Florida taxes compared to Alberta?
No hat and a city view, feels like we’re on vacation too! (Though I do love seeing your jersey racks). Have fun! Also as Edmonton fan I’m quite happy for Calgary. Our battles will be legendary!
As a Panthers' fan, I'm happy for Huberdeau. I think he's got the best situation he could go to under the circumstance. He gets to be coached by Sutter. Sutter will probably get the best out him. Don't know how the team will do, but I think Huby will be very productive. As for the Panthers, I don't think this was the good move they think it is. The thing about getting younger and extending the window, I don't agree with. Barkov and Ekblad didn't get any younger, and that's your window right there. Plus, Huberdeau's struggles in the playoffs are overblown. The previous season he lead the Panthers in scoring in the playoffs (just like he normally leads them in the regular season). The whole team wasn't well coached this playoffs, and just about everyone struggled. But for some reason, only Huberdeau got roasted. Plus, Huberdeau I believe will not decline as soon as most other players. Because his game isn't about speed or strength. As long as he keeps his great hands, he'll still be good. The one key I tell Flames fans about Huberdeau is, if he's moving his feet, he'll be really good. If he stops moving his feet, that's when he starts running into problems. He's not a great skater, but he doesn't have to be with his great hands. But he does have to move his feet. Wish we still had him, to be blunt. Wish him all the best.
I used to live in the Mojave desert…. why anyone would vacation there in the summer is beyond me. You literally have to reverse you schedule and do everything at night. Have fun though, I'm sure the room rates are cheaper this time of year.

Sharp dressed man in the house!!!!
Very nice Shannon. Love the tie.
Who the heck is this guy?
Shannon isn't in Vegas because of vacation, he's there because he's secretly a mob boss. 😂
The Hockey Guy still rippin’ videos on vacation absolute legend 🐐
Looking spiffy buddy, looking like you should be on the tv instead of YouTube!
Nice head
So basically Hubi replaces Gudreau. Wonder who could step in for Tkachuk.
I always assumed Shannon had clothes that weren't hockey jerseys. Still a bit of a shock when you actually see it.
Looking good Sir.
Cool look
montreal fans must be so sad right now.
They need to have a big summer next year but that is awesome

Whatever you make from YouTube – you deserve every penny of it. Thanks for all your hard work!
