I created this video to show that Miro Heiskanen is the most under appreciated player in the NHL. Heiskanen is one of the best defensemen in the NHL, but he doesn’t get enough recognition for this. He is an elite 2 way defenseman who dominates both offensively and defensively. Heiskanen is an amazing skater with high hockey IQ. He is a big reason why the Dallas Stars are one of the best teams in the NHL.

Hesiskanen is a great two defender
most people give the accolades to the offensive defenseman these days but Miro is good at both offense and defense, that's why he's overlooked

I think Hieskanen is the 7 best dman in the league he is a young talented player that can be good for another 10 years he is super underrated Since the stars have a weak defence without Heiskanen they might not even make the playoffs he does everything right at the right time would love to have him on my team
Heiskanen is the most simple defenseman, Makar and Hughes are very flashy dmen
His stats on my fantasy team for how high I picked him say otherwise
He’s not the flashiest guy, but man is he good. He belongs in the Makar, Hughes, Fox, Josi conversation imo. The poise, vision, IQ, and calmness he has makes him such a great player. Absolutely elite offensively and defensively. I think part of why he’s overlooked is because of where he plays. Dallas players are ALWAYS overlooked.
