Just a bit too sloppy at the end there. Hung in there but hurts so bad.

My hopes aren’t up for next year since we have 11 forwards on contract, I am however excited for the years after that. Ready for another year of misery.

Said it in the GDT and I’m saying it here: Francis needs to make some aggressive moves in the off season. I’m tired of this risk averse shit. It’s got us in the worst place possible. The fucking deadzone between missing the playoffs and getting a notable draft pick. This is the EXACT place we do not want to be as a new franchise.
The best thing possible every game from here on out is a regulation loss. But fuck me if it isn’t excruciatingly painful to watch.
This team has so far to go before they are real contenders. The so called offense is simply unacceptable. I’ve been saying it for three years now: there is no system, and there is not enough high-end talent to overcome this fact. The bottom six forwards are fine, I guess. The defense is a complete meh outside of Dunn/ Larson. Schultz is so bad he’s making Ryker bad. Oleksiak is a giant soft pillow. They both need to go, asap.
The skaters absolutely wasted the best season of goaltending we’ve had in franchise history.
We better hope several of this first wave of prospects hit big, otherwise this is going to be stagnant for a long time.

not gonna lie, starting to have some slight concerns with Beniers being our long-term 1C, he shows time and again he’s not exactly clutch, and this is going back to last year…We still may be missing that piece on the roster. Hope he proves me wrong next season.
