Tbh this year could have been pretty good with Ruff. Obviously NJD had a rough year but that wasn’t really so much on Ruff as it was the fact that they lost most of their D Corps due to injury or trade, and their goalies were bottom of the league performance wise, and some of their top young guys regressing. BUF at least had good goaltending around the halfway mark, decent performances from its D Corps, even though Tage, Tuch, Skinner, Quinn, etc all got injured. Not sure if it’s good to go for a retread but it can’t be worse than Granatos know nothing soft system. Gallant, Berube, Boudreau, Brind’Amour (maybe) are all also on the board. We pretty much know Granatos coming back to start next year, but maybe Ruff would take an Asst coach job and if we fire Granato can fill in as HC for the rest of the season

No, he’s done. Totally would hire him to be around in the organization tho
