Florida Panthers coach Paul Maurice speaks before his team plays the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on ABC on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
The Panthers have dropped their past three — and have been shut out twice during that span.
Florida will again be without captain Sasha Barkov; Sergei Bobrovsky will start.
On Thursday, Andrew Brunette’s Nashville team got 33 saves from Kevin Lankinen as he pitched a shutout for the first time since he beat the Panthers in 2021 as a member of the Blackhawks.
The Predators have a 16-game point streak (14-0-2) going with wins in their past four.
Florida starts a back-to-back with the Rangers on Saturday (ABC) and the Flyers on Sunday.
