I finally came early enough to watch it in that legendary 360p quality. And to see such a great win made it even greater.
As an Islanders fan, too little too late Islanders. Making the playoffs now is almost impossible. Why you guys decide to do this every year and go right to the wire is beyond me. You had just won 6 games in a row, were in a playoff spot and were masters of your own destiny. Then you blew it and lost 6. I want you to make the playoffs, but honestly, I doubt you will. Too little too late. You're going to need more luck than a Jets team that slept on you today.
Glad the Islanders won. But it's not good enough. This year is over. Congrats on (just doing contract work) didn't do anything for the fans except take our time and money…

What have happened to Helleybuck and his confidence? Looks very nervous and doing unnecessary actions and desperation dives. I've had strong feeling that he will be replaced after third puck, but they've waited till fifth.
If the islanders want to win they need to change there game plan to be highly offensive which would go against their terrible script they do every night of barely winning a boring low scoring and stalled out game nobody wants to watch.

Unfortunately, the Islanders, defending, remind the Rangers of the previous 2 – 3 seasons – to press around the goal, giving a lot of free space to the opponent, to play in their own zone. At the same time, covering the "stage" of your goalkeeper, limiting the visibility of the opponent's shots.
9:06 these are the kind of ads on the boards on tv that the nhl has to stop.. I literally lost sight of the play because all of a sudden there’s a second moving object.
The Islanders and fans sure do not look or act like they lost 6 straight before this.
The islanders are not making the playoffs with roy coaching.
It’s nice to see the officials are getting into playoff form. No disrespect to the fair-weather hockey fan but we hardcore hockey and NHL fans know that the NHL playoffs are nothing like the NFL playoffs. The whistles get put away and the NHL officials let the players play and it is the players that decide who’s going to win the Stanley Cup and I love it!
