Jacob fowler was outstanding yesterday. Watching him grow this year has been impressive. Such s solid butterfly style, he reminds me so much of P.Roy.
None of those players are really building stones. The Habs still don't seem to be building a Gilcig Core

I like Mantha he's a big boy, his size would be a huge help on a forward core of little guys. I have an affinity for Duclair because he's a fast hard working player, but I think with Anderson, Gally, Armia, and Dvorak all still under contract for next season and longer it's a hard sell to bring in more Vets that are getting out played by rookies and core players under 25. it would make more sense to me, if they drafted their top 6 need and did some re tooling on those bottom forward lines and on defense, maybe try and get out from under some bad contracts. I feel like next year is going to be a middle of the standings season with lots of growth.. The following offseason is when I expect some big boy moves from Huges. this season I just expect some intelligent "Trust the process" moves.
Marchessault and Middelstad would be my picks

I will leave the trade decision to Hughes , all the UFA players you named have various problems and won't be good for the Habs. Beauvilier is another Josh Anderson, I watched him play with the Canucks and he was worse than Anderson. Marchessault would be good on a 2 year contract but I don't think his health would be any different from Gallagher. Zegras would only be good if a contract signing was involved. See you later đ€đ

Hi Coach, not sure if we should dig too deep into UFA's yet as there's still some growing left to get done but we are yet [SO CLOSE] to seeing enough growth that maybe the start of a new season in October might surprise us all & we see everybody shine as we hope/expect soon? God Bless
