[Canucks] “My wife was telling me how special that was. She said she couldn’t really believe what was going on. I never thought I’d be in a situation where that would be possible.” J.T. Miller speaks on the chants from last night, the team’s mindset of keeping it day-to-day, and more.

Remember when everyone said he peaked two years ago
Hope he hits 100 this year
JAY TEE MILLER
I was critical of management choosing Miller over Bo, and who knows how it would have played out had we kept Bo however I am super thankful that Miller has found an elite game here and it shows he only wants to keep improving
If the Canucks win the Cup this year, and for the rest of his contract JT scores no goals. It was money well spent.
Wait till playoffs if he plays like a demon. The crowd will adore him.
Miller was a great bet and I’m glad we traded away that first pick for him. I was worried keeping him over Horvat due to his age and where the team was at even a year ago, but I’m happy he’s here for the long haul.
I was so wrong about Miller. I love the guy now.
Bad body language.
Shout out to JT Miller for sticking out some hard times in a difficult market. I personally had armchair GM traded him about 50 times.
He was a 100 point player, on a losing team full of drama, he was tasked with moving from wing to centre, *and* he was involved in trade rumours while being the team whipping boy. People freaked out at him for yelling at an AHL goalie last year.
To go from that, to having 18k+ chanting your name in-front of your family… well deserved.
I remember last year JT talking about how awesome that passion is going to be when the team is winning.
The video is posted here, and it’s really sweet to see his daughter just look around like “is that for dad? What?”
Well now it’s only going to be louder when he scores next game.
Literally got slandered so hard last year for having heart you know who you are
Im starting to think based on these comments that I was the only one happy we resigned miller when we did
He is him
He’s got the same dawg in him that Trevor Linden once manifested.
My buds and I chanted that until we were hoarse last night. So awesome!
Was not the smoothest ride to get here. Couldn’t be happier for Miller and Boeser the way the season has gone. Proud comes to mind. Not something you usually feel for players even when having career years. This team.feels.special..no doubt about it. GO CANUCKS GO… MAN AM I READY FOR THE PLAYOFFS
