    So much to unpack.

These terrorist refs getting in the way of a play for the 30th time tonight, flexing his stick to practically a 90 degree angle on a shot, (yeah it was gonna fucking break) and the inevitable milestone goal that we somehow avoided in the Bruins game.

  2. Tough spot for the coaching staff and Errson. Either he starts or it’s effectively a scheduled loss. 15 goddamn shots against and we get dummied.

  3. FlyersLaForest

Most frustrating and winnable game of the year. The panthers legit looked like a mid tier AHL team and Sandstrom and dumb luck won them the game

  4. cummins87

33 shots and one goal… this team might have the most inaccurate shooters of all time.

  5. SethPutnam2

The flyers goalie situation is downright depressing lol, imagine how many losses there’d be if Errson was also incompetent.  funny to think about, makes me grateful for ersson’s play this year.

  6. that felt like one of the games you just pretend never happened and move on

  7. Refs decided to play their own game of “be in the way” and “ignore icings”

  8. 420BlzItRocko

I don’t think I’ve ever been so desperate for a 22 year old Belarussian man I’ve never met to get a work Visa.

Kolosov needs to get here yesterday, because these back to backs are killing my soul.

  9. DELCO-PHILLY-BOY

Flyers play their asses off over the last 5 games and get 5 points off some really damn good hockey teams and the Caps, who I’m confinement in saying are genuinely a worse hockey team, get to feed off fatigued teams on back to backs and have supposedly good teams roll over on them.

  10. Brutal game to watch.

Reminder that Fletcher paid more for Risto than Fla paid for Reinhart the next day …

Oh and Gauthier is up to 35 goals 59 pts in 37 games now …

    I hate Fletcher so much

  11. Streetkillz13

Well not the outcome we would have liked, but to be expected with Sandstrom starting.

Unfortunately the Caps play the Redwings on Tuesday, which means At least 1 is guaranteed to win. Need to get a point against the Rangers.

  12. At least the people at the game got those sick bucket hats

  13. dogeatingdog

Flyers dominated outside of lucky breaks. And wtf were the refs doing? I’ve never seen them in the way as much as they were tonight

  14. zach2thefuture

Still pretty fuckin excited for how the Flyers have been, keep it up boys!!!

  15. JohnKrukIsAllElite

Losing 4-1 in regulation does not bode well for a come back tonight. I’m hoping they can find their rhythm in post-game live.

  16. diegler74

I still don’t understand why they never picked up Ranta on waivers.

  17. One of those nights the effort couldn’t override the lack of talent on the team

  18. MikeMacBlu

2-1-1 against Toronto, Carolina, Boston and Florida is about as good as one can hope. The gauntlet is almost over, just gotta stay the course.

  19. Flyersandcaps

Just one of those nights. Could not score. Sandstrom was bad but didn’t matter.

  20. DELCO-PHILLY-BOY

We had them by a full expected goal at game’s end too.

Fucking Sandstrom, fucking Stolarz, and fucking missed nets and sticks

  21. wisedustin

May be an unpopular opinion, but I’d rather be the WC. I know we got goalied today (both ways) but we have looked so much better against the Panthers this season than we have against Carolina as a whole

  22. FlyersLaForest

My biggest fear is what happens POST gauntlet. When we play Montreal and Chicago.

  23. zach2thefuture

The only hard line I’m drawing this off-season is that Briere *needs* to figure out this power play. I don’t care what the solution looks like, but if this team has a garbage PP next season there’s a *major* problem with the organization.

  24. Emergency_Chest3628

Said it once I’ll say it again, when is kolosov here again??

  25. zach2thefuture

Poehling gives a pretty good interview for a hockey player

  26. Roll-Me-Through

A bad luck game is much better than a pain old bad game, right? If Coots and Poehling finish, we’ve got a different outcome. Still, it feels like our lack of talent is evident. And as well as we kept a lid on them sometimes, all the Florida goals resulted from major breakdowns. But we’re not out of the race yet so LGF. Playoff City here we come

  27. JohnKrukIsAllElite

I’ve still got a few choice words for that crossbar.

  28. GimmickyBulb

I still love r/flyers , and the panthers (who can’t fly) will never change that.

  29. bleachboyz_

Flyers outplayed them; the scores should have been reversed. Can’t believe they didn’t of anything to address goaltending at the deadline.

  30. ArcanumAntares

HAHAHA, Tortorella being asked to throw Sandstrom under the bus and having none of it.  Awesome.

  31. elentiyaa

I…I LOVED YOU IN SECRET…FIRST SIGHT YEAH WE LOVE WITHOUT REASON

  32. The_Mauldalorian

Fuck Felix Sandstrom he could not stop a beach ball.

And why the fuck did we not claim Raanta off waivers? He could not be worse than this.

  33. FlyersLaForest

I’m begging this team to win 2 straight games again. It has seriously been snip snap for so long

  34. Roll-Me-Through

Well it almost makes me feel better to know that the oilers tendy let in 4/15 tonight for a worse save % than us

  35. Gonna be tough to win games when your goalie has a save percentage in the 700s. You’ve got decrepit Erik Johnson and a couple of AHL defenseman playing half the game. And Ryan Poehling is literallt skating 19+ minutes. This is simply not the same team we were watching a month ago.

I know we all got used to a winning brand of hockey this year, but this current group is no longer constructed to win these big games against tough teams.

But on the plus side, we’re gonna see how much heavy lifting these young kids can do. Guys like Foerster, York, Frost, are hitting new levels in their game, which is more valuable than anything this team was going to do this year.
