500 it’s way more palatable it’s way more I don’t know it’s just easier to to deal with when you’re winning games like these against this competition and the Panthers now are sitting on some real questions because they’ve cooled off lately four five and one in their last

Or five four- one in their last 10 but all five of those losses and now six in a row have come against playoff teams I shouldn’t say in a row cuz that’s not accurate they have won some games against playoff teams during that stretch as well but having six losses in

Their last 11 games to all playoff caliber teams you could look at it as hey hey those are the teams you would be losing against right you don’t want to be losing against Bad teams but also those are the games that you want to be to have a better record in obviously the

Teams that you are going to face coming up now look the Bruins aren’t in that much better of a standing right there so I’m not kind of comparing the two but I think Panthers fans are probably having that conversation amongst themselves and now the Bruins are 30 and0 against the

Panthers this year we know that doesn’t really mean all that much but this is as close to the final version of the Panthers team that we’re going to face and we would be likely to face in the playoffs if we meet this matters this matters for a lot of reasons because one

You won right dub he but two you came back late in the third you took a one-goal lead and then you held that oneg goal lead and it was dicey I get it but you played calm cool collected instead of just chucking the puck for the net and getting icing after icing

Knowing you can’t win those faceoffs they cleared the puck responsibly yes they were giving possession back but they were stuck in positions whereas either give possession back on the other side of the ice or ice it or turn it over in your Zone you take their option

Are the fourth best power play in the league the seventh best penalty kill they have the 12th most goals scored per game and it shocks me every time I see it but they have the number one defense in the league they have the fewest goals

Allowed per game by a margin last time I checked we like I me have won the previous two meetings of season but that was November and October so this was two more complete teams facing each other with very few injuries the Bruins will line up as such we got Marian Coyle de

He’s going to miss this one uh I think it’s the right decision honestly his five on five play hasn’t been good enough and quite frankly the power play hasn’t been good with him on it either so it’s really like why do we have this guy in the lineup I still kind of defend

Why we should have traded him at the deadline because I think somebody would have paid assets for him at that deal with the numbers that he had so far this season but that’s fine he’ll make his way back into the lineup soon I’m sure because we’re going to talk about our

We’d be crucifying any of our players for that obviously with a a one-goal lead late in the game but we’ll take it when it’s the other team about a buck 20 into the power play the first unit’s already off but Martian has stayed on and he Sprints to the neutral zone looks

Like he’s going to lose the puck but somehow we get a good bounce he stays with it on that left wall gets into the offensive zone and he is just going to absolutely Hammer this this is a hell of a pass with speed to Freddy who’s basically alone in the slot he collects

And goes sniper Rooney and Cheez High glove on boski Freddy finally gets one I think it’s been 30 games he’s in a power play goal or something crazy like that and as much as I wanted Fight Night Freddy and he I thought he should have been more physical in this one game

Tying goal Freddy pretty solid I’ll take that I’ll take that for sure and then 2 minutes later 221 left it’s a great keeping by water spoon he knocks it down he quickly moves it to the right side where pasta is sitting in the right circle with his back turn to the goal

And he’s just going to turn and spin it and throw it into the crease cuz that’s what he does and zaka is there with with the skate it goes in it’s 43 and that’s your final score it’s going to be a gutsy last 2 minutes they’re going to

Pull boski right away and we’re going to have multiple clears that were focused on keeping the puck alive rather than icing it we’re not just gunning for the net I thought that was the right decision it does give possession right back but it does maintain that time

Moving and because of how poor we are in faceoffs in our own Zone late in games especially eh it’s a better opportunity for us than just icing it over and over again but that’s a huge dub Game notes the voice is doing its best one goalie is

Going to make Monty’s decision on who gets game one I think that race is wide open San wasn’t abhorent in this game he wasn’t terrible anything like that you could hardly blame him for a couple of these I don’t think he’s playing up to what he should be I think his rebound

Control hasn’t been there I think he struggled with a lot of Puck management um he did get a secondary assist though on Freddy’s goal but he just hasn’t been great omark you could say the same thing there’s been moments where he looks great and there’s moments where he

Doesn’t so down the stretch I expect one goalie to really grab that JW by the horns obviously I think they’re still going to do the the tandem thing in the playoffs but this was uh this was another game where you’re like no one’s grabbed that starting roll yet uh paa is

These games so are we turning most of these series into coin flips as the best case scenario yeah does that mean long-term success who knows but if you can do it for two months hell yeah we’ve said it all year things have to go right

For this team to win a cup and they haven’t done anything to dissuade me from that which is honestly still a good thing with the roster construction and everything we knew this isn’t going to be a juggernaut team they also don’t look like a team that’s going to be an

Easy out I think they’re going to play hard and it’s going to be a really interesting every round they make it to there’s not going to be any easy rounds which they’re never is um but this is a huge win and it feels good and the boys
