  1. Agreed – let's give this man a contract. He has, in my opinion, exceeded expectations and seems extremely invested in the locker room. Need more guys like this.

  2. Nedeljkovic is underrated. Remember, he almost won a Vezina as a rookie. He struggled a bit after, but the potential for him to at the very least be a decent starter is good.

  3. I dont need Jarrs going out there flat footed because hes not motivated by whose across from him in the net. Its infuriating and Ned just gives it. The rest of the boys recognize this and fight on his behalf.

  4. Sign Ned. He and Jarry are a good 1-2. Sid should agree to re sign on July first when/if they also bring back Jake. They need to move on from dead weight. Do their best to clear out Rakell, Smith, Graves, even Karlsson if they can find suitors. Try to retain as little cap as possible ( some will likely need to be retained on some of those deals). Then sign younger faster players. Hopefully Yager is ready to go for next year as well. In a perfect world this is how it will go down this summer lol

  5. The Jarry hate imo is unwarranted. we went over the stats yesterday and his and Ned's are almost identical. Jarry has shown he can be a top 10 tender in the league, and his 5m dollar cap isn't bad at all. he is the 12th highest paid tender in the league under guys like Gibson, grubauer, MATT MURRAY etc. idk why dk any chance he gets talks negative about jarry, its been like that since the offseason. like consistency is an issue at times, so yea I'd be happy if they signed Ned to maybe 2-3 yrs making 2.5 m. but jarry isn't a scrub, and recency bias will have you forget that Ned has had consistency issues in the past, so I'd watch putting my eggs in one basket. like let's look at the whole picture here guys and try to be unbiased

  6. Ned 12-6.. Jarry 19-24.. for those of you that think it's not Jarry at all, stop taking drugs.. Ned makes timely saves, Jarry gives up weak goals when it matters..

  7. I've been out on Jarry almost from the moment I first saw him. I've been told he's near-elite at times, but that is not what I have seen. I saw some weak goals end a playoff run. I saw some injuries. Ive seen what appears to be a strange aloofness. And yes, Ive seen the very occasional awesome save or flurry of saves. But most often, what sticks out to me is his penchant for letting up momentum -altering or -killing goals. Ned to me just feels 'steadier'…more reliable. I like him better. I trust him more. And thats a damned odd thing to say about a Browns fan. Sign the guy!

  8. Nah. Wouldn't resign Ned, and I would try to trade Jarry. No reason to block Blomquist, and Nedelkevic is only shining compared to Jarry. But this is Kyle Dubas so I expect something stupid to be done.

  9. Yeah, for the right number I'm also onboard. I'm the last one to underestimate the importance of the right mindset of a player. That's what makes the difference between talent and a real winner. Judging from the outside I don't see that in Jarry. The talent is there, but it's like he always needs an external motivation to be at his best. I'm curious about Blomqvist. He's now 22 years old. And, although he don't get any attention yet, there's also another promising 19 year old goaltender in the pipeline in the name of Sergei Murashov.

  10. Pretty sure that's the plan. Unless they have an idea on another goalie to start in front of Blomqvist next season that isn't on anyone radar yet. Pretty confident Jarry will be moved, so they might yet bring in someone else in replacement of, or in addition to Ned to be their netminding combo while Blomqvist marinades further. BTW: Stop barking orders.
