The Blues are the only team to lose to the Sharks twice this season, and both times they lost by FOUR GOALS. Completely unacceptable.
When Rutta scored the empty net goal he was so close to Blackwood that he gave him a glove tap and it is very very very rare in hockey that a goal scorer and his own goalie can hi 5 / glove tap / glove pump each other like that. For a goalie you have better odds to get a shutout over your own team scoring a goal right next to you so you can congratulate them personally.
The sharks could have done the goal group hug with Blackwood and I do not remember any sharks goal like that before in my life. I am not saying there has not been others I just do not remember.
The Blues play by play guys were saying after the game that the Blues have 80 shots in 2 games vs the sharks and only have 1 goal to show for it. Blues are obviously also winless against the sharks.
