I’ve always said i got not hate for Myers
Myers is another guy who Rick has made into a useful player. No, he's not a $6 million player, he gets caught from time to time and isn't the fastest skater and he still takes dumb penalties at times, but there's been a lot less of that this year. I still don't think I'd bring him back next year (unless he wants to stay as a bottom pairing guy for $2 million max), but given the fact that we had to keep him and his high cap hit anyway, good for Tocchet for making a useful player out of him, especially at this point in his career. I think they're in trouble if he's getting top 4 minutes for any significant length of time and I'd definitely take Zadorov over him, but at least he's better than he's been in previous seasons. Even in the bubble, I remember the bad penalties.

The Canucks will not get out of the first round with all of Myers' gaffes and stupid penalties. You heard it here first. Tocchet is a turd polisher.
The Myers haters need to look in the mirror and see that there's no cup this season unless Myers has a great playoffs. We need to get behind all our boys, not just everyone but Myers. Want a cup in Van this season? Then Myers must hoist a cup. And it's not like Hughes hasn't passed the puck directly to the opposition right in front of his own net twice in the past few weeks. Even future hall of famers make giraffe gaffs. Don't pretend Hughes didn't do those things and then when Myers makes a mistake he's the worst player in hockey.
