League needs to give refs fines for such bad calls. Or in any goalie interference calls it's automatically reviewed. Playoffs are not far away and a call like this could end up being the call that sends a team home for the season in the playoffs.
I just could not believe my eyes with this call. That ref was bound and determined to punish Bedard for something Philly did to their own goaltender. This was pitiful, and he didn't even bother to question his own judgement.
Man, I'm a Red Wings fan, so I hate the Chicago Bedards more than most – and I still think the league rigged the draft to give him to them – but boy oh boy is this an absolute showcase of how bad this league's officiating is. "Don't call the rulebook, call a narrative," is literally the mindset of officiating.
I'm not in on the Bedard parade and I'm not a Hawks fan, but that was the most absurd call I've seen since that Preds no goal (which was obviously a fair goal) that handed the Penguins a Stanley Cup.
If you lose badly at home to the Blackhawks, you deserve to be boo’d. They played pretty well though. Bedsy needs to score some goals to solidify his Calder Cup, though
Isn't Yosemite Sam a fabulous Coach in Philly??!! They've only lost 9 of the last 13 games!!! He's seen being interviewed after EVERY game and some love his contempt for the media. As with the other 4 NHL Team's he "coached", the Flyers WILL suffer Tort-fatigue and tire of his antics. It's the same wherever he goes. As I've said for years, when your so-called Coach gets all tbe media attention, you know something is very wrong.

Wow an absolutely ridiculous call by these idiot refs. He should be suspended for a call like that. I guess theyre untouchable tho like baseball umpires. But at least a coach can challenge a call in baseball. Some of these nhl refs couldnt fairly call a game of 12 year olds and get it right. So unprofessional. Plus poor connor will have a target on his back as long as he plays id bet.
