If clinching requires Tampa winning, I’d prefer to beat Florida in regulation, and have Tampa lose in regulation, because if they win, they come closer to 3rd place.

We’re likely looking at an eighth consecutive playoff appearance for this team. I know things haven’t gone how any of us hoped they would in the playoffs but I mean, imagine telling yourself back in 2014 the Leafs would be in eight straight post seasons I don’t think I’d believe that one bit if someone told me that. This year will hopefully be the most successful year of all too 🙏
I mean how about it they just won their next 2 games

What’s the difference with the second scenario?
For (2), why is a shoot out win included in the second one?
